Love your country….always

OK. I, occupied with exam fever, was sitting in the library when this guy flipped out. Apparently, his buddy said something negative out his homeland.

I know this guy. However, I wasn’t expecting this kind of a strong reaction from him because he has never before shown any signs of compassion for his native land. This got me thinking.

I often see that people need initiation to express/experience their patriotism. This initiation usually comes in from of either abuse or tragedy. But why?

Why have we imposed such a massive restriction on our love for our homeland? We should not need some prick to stereotype our nation before we become vocal about how awesome our country is. Nope. The passion should be eternal, and should be expressed freely, although be careful not to offend others. They are entitled to have a difference of opinion and so are you. Do not try to shove your beliefs down anybody’s throat.

So yeah this a post that goes to all the awesome countries that decorate the planet Earth. Love ya’ll, bless ya’ll.
