This is not an advertisement. Neither am I a PS fangirl. I own a 360. I am just highly disappointed
Microsoft has back peddled on their controversial decision to force people to connect to Internet, and take away the luxury of playing used games. As expected, the Xbox fan base has wet their pants in joy. They are in tears with the thought that Microsoft LISTENED to their feedback. First of all, Microsoft didn’t listen to any feedback. They got embarrassed at Sony at E3, and were forced to come to terms with the fact that PS4 is a far superior product at a much affordable price. Microsoft could sense the game universe tilting heavily into the favor of PS4, and as a result have reverted their stupid choices. This has nothing to do with what the user’s want. If that was high on their priority list, these dumb restrictions would have never have even made it to their production zone.
Despite their decision to correct some of their mistakes, it’s just not enough. I am sure a lot of people, like myself, have lost confidence in the company and were furious and disappointed with their decisions. Unfortunately, the scars of those horrid choices aren’t healing that easily. PS4 have taken every step in the right direction, and it’s impossible to resist the way in which they designed their product with gaming and gamers in mind. I know a lot of people have been making noise about the fact that PS users will have to pay to play online. Well, let me remind you that Xbox has been doing that for years now. And people have embraced it. So for me that’s not a deal breaker. In fact, it looks more lucrative than the system Xbox has in place. Users aren’t required to pay to use netflix or any other apps.
I am Kudi Punjaban, and Xbox 360 is the last Xbox I’d buy.
